MADCAP Coffee Shop Engagement Session

Aubrey & Adam have a special love for hot chocolate. The plan was to grab a couple of hot chocolates to go from MADCAP and walk around Downtown Grand Rapids with them while taking photos. Well— things don’t always go to plan, and that’s okay. On this December day it was 18 degrees with a bitterly cold 12 degree wind chill. So, we pivoted, and asked the barista if we could take photos in the coffee shop. He said “Of course! People shoot here all the time!”

The photo above is hands-down my favorite from the gallery. A picture of you and your partner through a coffee shop window?! Sign me up.

I say this almost every session but I absolutely LOVE the way that these turned out. This was such a happy accident. This is your sign to make lemonade out of lemons!
