Old Mission Peninsula Engagement Session
Will found me through a Facebook post of another couple looking for a photographer. It wasn’t his post, but he happened to click on my comment with a link to my website. After seeing my work, he told his Fianceé, Kayla, that I was going to be their photographer. When they told me this story during their session, I was amazed. It feels so good to hear that people are seeing my work and loving it— truly a dream come true.
Kayla and Will chose Old Mission Peninsula for their engagement session. They love coming here in the summer for the views. It was quite literally a freezing cold day, but we all braved the elements and made some magic happen. The wind was whipping so hard, especially on the beach when we stepped outside of the tree cover. Halfway through the session we all went to our cars and took a 10-minute warm up. We all needed to dethaw our fingers and toes. They were such champs about the whole thing.
I loved traveling to Traverse City. It’s one of my favorite places to visit, I have some family up there that I frequently go see, especially in the summer when there’s so much to do. I’m so excited for these two, they plan to get married in Spring of 2026.
