Stunning Country Club Wedding

I had the opportunity to second shoot once again for the amazing Hollie with Hollie V Photography. This wedding was broken up into two locations, the ceremony being at a catholic church and the reception being at a country club.

The country club was absolutely stunning. The bridal suite was one of my favorite spots at the venue, the way the big windows let in natural light for a backlit effect made for some really cool photos.

My primary responsibility at this particular wedding was to take photos of the groomsmen. The groomsmen were super fun and definitely were there to celebrate and have a good time. It’s always great to be around this energy and have willing subjects. We were so lucky to have golden sun during our outdoor portraits of the wedding party right in front of the building.

One of my favorite parts about second shooting is I get to be a “fly on the wall” more than I’m able to when I’m the primary photographer. I get more time to play with lighting and shadows, and the opportunity to walk around collecting more candid photos of guests. It’s always so fun when I get home to sort through the photos and see what magic I was able to capture.
